![]() ![]() That said, I wish the OP success & happiness. Even the body design will evoke amused grins because it's so generational. The Skystice, on the other hand, will be the Renault Dauphine of fin de siecle roadsters - to be found in barns and wondered over. In 20 years, the NC may not be a classic, but a lot of them will still be running around. Every Skystice owner I know - five of them - tell me I made the right decision and they wish they had done the same. All were dogs - surprisingly slow, alarmingly clunky handling, impractical design, bathtub ergonomics, cheezy finish & interiors. Since then, I've driven four more - two turbos and two NA's. I drove four of the Skystices, all turbos, back in '07 when I was looking to purchase. In 20 years the NC will be just another old Miata, still a great car but too common and not fast enough to make people go "wow", not to mention the Kappa twins did have some great styling. ![]() My car history is 1958 red MGA (a fixer upper), 1966 yellow Jag XKE roadster (a fixer upper that I never completely fixed), 1970 (brand new) Opel GT, 1982 white camaro and 1988 read camaro (my family cars), 1993 white Dodge Stealth, 2001 black miata with hardtop (not new it was a buy back), 2003 new silver miata LS, and now I have the "sky" to look at and a 2011 Subaru Legacy for day time driving and tripsÄue to the short production run, good looks, and stout performance I think the Turbo Skystice twins will be one of those cars highly sought after in 20 years.one of those things were things like trunk space and the top's ease of use will be very minor quibbles. Thanks for the positive feedback since I actually reviewed a lot of threads here on people's feeling towards the Sky but just could not control myself.started by finding 3 solstices - one with 1700 miles (yellow), one with 30000 miles (white), one with 95 miles (silver) on ebay - won the ebay auction but it was below the reserve -was on my way to buy the white solsctice when I saw the red sky on a lot and bought it on the spot. True no trunk space-not as tossable as my 2003 - reliability is yet to be determine but in 9 years only changed the tires and got the miata inspected.Sky has a completely different driving experience and when you put the pedal down it really does Zoom reminds me a bit of my 93 dodge stealth but not as heavy and has more options than I know what to do with and none of them deal with space. ![]()
